I just read a great article in 3D magazine about VFX legend Phil Tippet. The one thing that resonated with me the most is the advice he gave about finding balance. As animators we are constantly judging our work. Becoming as he described"hyper-focused" on what's 'wrong' with our work, and that's the death of an artist. Instead take a look at it from the perspective of what can make it better.
